Glassblower in Caithness Glass Factory

The Ancient Art of Glassblowing.

I found my original external hard-drive last week. It weighs over a kilogram and has its own separate lead and plug to power it. I probably bought it about 20 years ago.

These images were taken in 2004 on a visit to Caithness Glass Factory. I had a SonyDSC-P10 camera with a rectangular purple memory stick, capacity 64mb.

I’m using LUMINAR software to try to inject new life into these old pictures. They’ve never been processed before as post-processing wasn’t something I was aware of in those days.

For all technology has advanced so much in the 15 years since these images were taken, the ancient art of Glassblowing shown goes back over 2000 years.
